Elementary Student and Mentor Artist Exhibit, 2023-present

After Friends of Elementary Arts reached the goal of an endowment fund of $100,000, the decision was made to support a new fine arts collaborative event. Each art teacher in an Alachua County public elementary school is invited to select one creative student. This student is paired with an outstanding local artist and they exhibit their work side by side at the Gainesville Fine Arts Association Gallery. The student also receives art supplies and a sketchbook with work by their mentor artist on the cover.
